Body Composition Screenings

Body fat, not weight, is the better measure of one's health and fitness. Our body composition analysis will break down your body weight into pounds of fat, lean body mass and body water. You will also receive an estimate of your daily caloric intake and basal metabolic rate.

This test is done with near-infrared light technology and is administered on your dominant bicep.

Bone Density Screenings

Taking a low-powered x-ray of your wrist or an ultra-sound of your heel, we can show you the current density of your bones. The density of the wrist and heel are strongly correlated to the strength of both the hip and the spine.

Bone density testing is offered for osteoporosis, the disease that silently and over the years thins and weakens bones. Every individual over the age of 30 should have a baseline bone density measurement to determine if peak bone mass has ever developed. Participating in a bone density test will reveal your present and future risk of fracture.

Cholesterol Screenings
Experts agree that having your cholesterol measured is one of the cheapest, most reliable ways to determine your risk of heart disease and can point you toward concrete ways to decrease that risk.

Through a fingerstick blood sample and five minutes of your time, we can test for early identification of heart disease and also management of lipid levels

Diabetes Risk Assessments
15.7 million people in the U.S. have diabetes. Approximately 10.3 million have been diagnosed, leaving 5.4 million unaware that they have the disease.

We're offering a four-test screening to determine your risk:

          • arterial elasticity
          • body fat
          • glucose screening
          • visual field test

Skin Damage Screenings
This screening uses a non-invasive ultra-violet light to determine the sensitivity, dryness and other conditions of your skin. Sun, soaps, and other pollutants can have a negative impact on your skin which could eventually result in skin cancer. This test is completely safe and allows you to personally view the condition of your skin.
